Residents witnessed large ice chunks measuring up to seven centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities confirmed that different parts across Queensland had been affected by significant hail.

Emergency response teams responded to over five hundred requests for assistance across the area, mostly for structural issues but also for downed trees and water accumulation.

• Wyndham region - nearly 180 emergency requests

During the peak on yesterday, more than 28,000 electricity consumers in the state were experiencing outages.

Climate Outlook

Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along large portions of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a weather pattern continued to pull in damp air against the coast.

Tomorrow was predicted as the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across different parts of both areas.

Safety Concern

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
